Bac Ha market one day tour




  • Bac Ha market which takes place every Sunday is famous for the originality and authenticity that the traders still preserve.

  • It is not simply a place for buy and sell but also an opportunity for people from different ethnicities to come and meet, for relatives to reunite after a long time missing, for women to demonstrate their beautiful handmade traditional costumes and even for youngsters to find their dates.


 Itinerary




  • Greetings visitors at a rendezvous, transfer to BacHa market, a big market crowded with people from many different hill-tribes. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. Here, you have chance to enjoy the BacHa people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plums, apples and peaches. Talk to the locals using the guide as your interpreter.

  • Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920.

  • Return to the town for lunch.

  • In the afternoon, a short trekking visit BanPho village. Drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in LaoCai.

  • Back to rendezvous.

  • End of your Bac Ha market one day tour.
